Designed and tested to provide a consistent bracing capacity with USG's Grid as defined in their ICC ESR-1222 and ICC ESR-4538. These products are designed for use with shotpins or 1/2" expansion anchors. If you require 5/8" expansion anchors please add those to your order.   

Also used with USG's Advancespan product on the main beam for corridors using the compression post and one brace.

GRIDLOK® has an OSHPD OPM 0544 which is a preapproval or all OSHPD and DSA projects in California.

A simple click fit and screw fix process dramatically reduces time required to complete rigid back bracing, and by incorporating a compression post reduces the number of attachments required from 5 wires and a compression post, to a compression post and two 45-degree steel stud connections, thus reducing plenum clutter and providing a consistent install.

GRIDLOK® can be installed anywhere along  the main grid (as opposed to wire, which must be installed at the intersection of the main and cross grid). GRIDLOK can also rotate 360 degrees and can be field bent to be anywhere from 0-60 degrees giving it an infinite number of landing locations for the brace to the deck or wall and minimizes service clashes.

Unit as supplied comes with attachment to the grid plus two 45 degree connectors and one 90 degree connector for the compression post attachment to deck above.
